Sub day

I stepped into my old classroom to sub for one of my teachers and it was rough leaving at the ned of the day. I felt like I was a teacher again. My students cheered when I entered the classroom and were as excited as I was to be their teacher again even if it was only for part of the day. It kind of made me feel like working even harder as a principal so I can ensure that they have all they need to be successful in the classroom. I know.... I am thinking about work in my off time, but this really all I have.

I bathed my Guinea pigs , went to the market, cleaned everything, and work, work, work. Not sure what else to do really. I have nothing else at the moment ...at least for now...

Ramblings....

Well I am no longer a teacher and I miss being in the classroom....I am now a principal and well it's crazy to think that at this point in my life I have already come so far. The only thing wrong with it is that I have no one to share it with.  Which sucks at times, especially when everyone in my field is older, have a family and have someone to go ho me to at the end of the day...while I go home to my guinea pigs and have friends who are still trying to figure out what to do in life and are busy partying or going out and doing all kinds of things, while I balance budgets, think if trainings for my teachers and discipline students and  parents, the headaches come and go but the heart ache is still there ever persistent...

Nature fascinates me and that is why when ever I am on a plane or anywhere really I take pictures galore. I am not a photographer, I use my phone to take pictures of things I find interesting and beautiful.

I took these pictures from inside a plane as I traveled back from Florida to California.

Larson Family Wine

Located in Sonoma, California, this winery is great! The people were very hospitable and their three dogs were very friendly as well.
They gave us a tour of their winery and let us go up to their wines and even let us grab a grape!

They have some great red wines for every occasions, and they don't cost an arm and a leg. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend it to others.

If you are the type of person who would like to vacation in a place like, they have a house they rent out! you would be right in front of the winery!

Cheers,

Mustache restaurant...

Saw this while while on a trip to Mexico and I just had to pull over and take a picture.

Wine tour: Napa Valley

To kick off my summer break I went on a wine tour. Though it was a bit rainy Napa Valley was fun, however personally I like Sonoma more. I took a tour of a castle which was pretty fun and at times I fled from the group to do some individual exploring.
The castle was very nice and was basically a huge wine cellar. Barrels and barrels is all my eye could see.

Then I saw their reserve cellar and lucky for them it was locked. It gave me a couple ideas of what I may want in my future home.

While the tour was fun, I just wanted to drink some wine, and drink some wine I did. Straight from the barrel... :) That's why the tour guide has that tube in his hand.

After about 20 wine tastings I was a bit tipsy so my sister and I sat down for a little picnic. Some sourdough bagger, spiced baked potatoes, some cheese spread, pesto pasta, and of course some more wine (and water to sober up after).  Maybe it was the alcohol but it was delicious!

This is just a snip of what I did, as I get better at blogger I will be able to post things better.

Cheers,
Ms.D

UC Berkeley Botanical Garden

Decided to pay the botanical Garden a visit to enjoy nature. The garden is gorgeous, large and has a large variety. Nice place for a mini hike and picnic. Though right next to the garden I noticed some real hiking trails that I think I will explore next time.
Though the sights were beautiful, I was not prepared. I left wanting to explore more but he rain wouldn't allow me.

contemplating.

Last year I made a good friend, I see him as a brother and as someone who looks out for me. The last time we went out together though he tried to put the moves on me. I just kind of brushed it off and I've kinda been keeping my distance since then.

Someone once told me that dreams where the voice of your subconscious, in my personal experience my dreams have turned into reality in more that a handful of times.

It has been some time since I thought about him, mostly I've been focusing on myself or at least trying to. However, my conscious life has been filled with exes trying to clamor back into my life. I do not give people second chances since all of my relationships have ended and in not so good circumstances. So I do not trust them not to do the shady things they have done to me in the past.

Anyways my dream took place in LA with my family and my extended family, I apparently adopted one of my students and thus had a son.  I also had a baby boy but I couldn't remember what I named him, he was light skin and had blue-grey eyes and I could feel his warmth.

Different routes of life.

Sometimes I wish I could go back and take a less responsible route in life. I wonder why I am responsible, why do I work hard....Why is it that I didn't choose and easier path in life that doesn't ask so much from me…but would I be satisfied?
